Liqueur “Smoked Pear”

“Smoked Pear” Liqueur (28% vol.) is a modern gastronomic beverage created in collaboration with Yevhen Klopotenko and the Kontabas brand team of the Kontapel company, which specializes in reviving traditional Ukrainian drinks. It is not just an alcoholic beverage, but a reinterpretation of Ukraine’s flavor heritage in a new format.

At the heart of the drink lies an old Ukrainian tradition of fruit preservation. Pears were traditionally dried and lightly smoked in ovens to store them through the winter. During this process, they developed a unique profile in which natural sweetness was combined with gentle smoky notes. This very flavor became the foundation of “Smoked Pear” Liqueur, which recreates this historical approach while adapting it to modern gastronomy.

The taste is layered and expressive, featuring notes of smoked pear complemented by hints of raspberry and wild plum. Thanks to its balanced strength and smooth texture, the liqueur is enjoyable both neat and in cocktails or gastronomic pairings.
